For this project, HIP created a campaign utilizing both traditional and inbound marketing. In strategizing with the client, we were told the demographic is primarily young, African American males, ages 18-30. HIP set out to create a series of images that portray the timeline from arrest to life in prison. More specifically, exploiting the statistics of people going to jail or prison that don’t necessarily belong there. Our solution was to creative a message that would speak to people who have been in this situation or family members whose loved ones have been in a similar situation. Using the tagline “Deja Vu” in correlation with a sequential story, these images invoke the all too familiar scene to some.
